![]() the only thing i can figure is realtek drivers. i have everything on the perfect setup and all of my connections are answered. i boot it in windows without audio but in ubuntu it wont work either. I disabled that and the drivers worked fine. The Behringer software I was using had a microphone section. It has audio in and out and also a microphone input. You didn't mention it above, so I'm just assuming. If, moving forward, you see any further issues with audio drivers, consider also disabling Realtek HD Audio for sessions where the Behringer is connected. I'm glad to hear that the mfr driver got your DAW purring. My.db file is in the right path, and I've followed the steps in the manual, as well as the driver installation instructions as detailed in a number of posts here on the forum. I am running a Ubuntu 18.04, and I have a Behringer Patch X1010. ![]() The device is supposed to use the generic 'USB Audio CODEC' driver Behringer does not provide any original driver software for this device. I've been trying to make my Behringer Xenyx 302 work with Linux Mint for the last few days, and whatever I do I keep getting the following error whenever I select any audio profile in VST: "Error loading VST Synth". How can I reset a device's info to install its original drivers I use an external USB audio device (In case it's relevant, it's the Behringer XENYX 302 USB). Only if you want to input a new audio profile, you need to press F1 or do some other special action on the rem. The X1010 has a behavior of connecting to your PC at power on (pressing the true on the remote, as I think that's what you meant). If you need more information i can provide you. When i'm setting a new audio profile on "Audio Production" not working. I'm not sure if you know anything about Behringer and why there is a problem while being usb sound card. And while in the virtual studio manager use the most lower volume. I use my Behringer as on-stage usb sound card. Thank you, it has been my first time using my Behringer Xenyx 302. TL DR: The Behringer Xenyx 302 USB is a useful bit of kit that comes with some decent software.Behringer Xenyx 302 Usb Drivers This is particularly good if you are a beginner at this sort of thing and are only using free software. This negates the necessity for a decent software as Tracktion is pretty useful. This is not actually mentioned by thomann, but by going to Behringer's product page and registering your mixer's serial number, Behringer and Tracktion give you a licence for the software. It is a very versatile product, especially for its size and price and I recommend it to any person looking for more options whilst recording.Īs a side note, the product is made even better by the fact that it comes with a licence for Tracktion recording software. I can then record the whole live mix of our band through the PC.Īlternatively, this unit can be used for recording pod casts with it's microphone input or a guitar and microphone for a singer/songwriter. There is a headphone output which allows you to hear the mix and then I have the USB cable plugged into the computer. The way that I use the Xenyx 302 USB is having my main mixer's RCA audio output connected to the LINE INPUT on the Xenyx. This unit is powered by USB, so can be plugged in to the included wall socket adapter and used as an input for speakers, but also can be powered straight from a computer by the USB, enabling you to input into the PC without having to have it plugged into the wall. Same thing with Window's default USB audio driver and Behringer's own. If I click Solo on some other input, eg a Video player, the noise completely disappear. If I send absolutely nothing (input faders all down, or no input cables connected to the mixer) the noise remains. I bought this product in order to output my mixer to a PC via USB. I hear it in vMix headphones fed via Audio Output - Headphone device.
